An invocation, a prayer, a cry of faith: San Gennaro mio putente (meaning roughly "my mighty San Gennaro") worn close to the heart, like a walking holy card.
San Gennaro mio putente, Unisex T-shirt takes its name from an expression every Neapolitan has uttered at least once in their life: a mix of genuine devotion and everyday superstition, the phrase that slips out when danger has just been narrowly avoided or when a last-minute miracle is needed. 'Putente' means 'mighty' or 'powerful', and on Neapolitan lips it sounds like a tender pat on the back to their patron saint, the one of the blood that liquefies and the impossible things that become possible.
This is the T-shirt for those who carry San Gennaro in their heart even before their chest, for those who believe in the small miracles of everyday life. Perfect as a gift for anyone born under Vesuvius who now lives anywhere in the world, but never forgets who to turn to when things take a turn for the worse.
