Two scugnizzi race down the alley, painted like a scene from another era: Avanti Scugnizzi, Neapolitan childhood on a white t-shirt.
Scugnizzi are Naples' street kids, the ones who could always turn an alleyway into a stadium and a rag-ball into a cup final. Avanti Scugnizzi captures them like a painting from another era: two children running between the buildings, one in a light blue shirt, a scrap of paper passing from hand to hand, and behind them a whole gang giving chase. It's Neapolitan childhood as it was — and still is, if you know which neighbourhoods to look in.
The white t-shirt carries the painting on the chest, with the wording underneath. For anyone who ran like that as a child, for anyone who looks at their kids and recognises themselves, for anyone who wants to wear a piece of Naples you won't find on postcards.
