Naples doesn't ask for protection. It demands it. And when things get complicated, there's always someone to turn to.
This is how “San Gennà, FUTTATENNE!” (roughly, “San Gennaro, don't give a toss!”) came about — the Special Edition T-shirt by Napoli Tattà® dedicated to San Gennaro, patron saint of Naples and probably one of the deepest symbols of this city's relationship with faith, history, and that very Neapolitan gift for facing even the hardest moments with irony.
We didn't want to make just another T-shirt dedicated to San Gennaro.
We took an image deeply rooted in Neapolitan culture and brought it into the language of contemporary street art.
The result is a black T-shirt with a bold character, built around a large back illustration in which San Gennaro looks straight at the viewer, winks, and holds up the reliquary containing the two vials of blood, reinterpreted through urban graphics dominated by black, yellow, white and small red accents.
Below it, a phrase that needs little explanation:
SAN GENNÀ, FUTTATENNE!
It's not just a slogan but almost a contemporary Neapolitan prayer.
A request for protection expressed in the way Naples knows how to speak to its saints: with respect, familiarity, irony, and that closeness that belongs to centuries of history.
A T-shirt to look at especially when you turn around
The main feature of the Napoli Tattà® San Gennaro T-shirt is the large print on the back.
San Gennaro is depicted in the traditional yellow bishop's robes, holding the reliquary of his blood in one hand. Inside the same reliquary, the two vials — the smaller one and the larger one — are clearly shown, a central element of the tradition linked to the Miracle of San Gennaro.
The whole composition is transformed into a piece of Neapolitan street art, with brushstrokes, splashes, urban textures and a deliberately powerful visual construction.
The front, on the other hand, stays essential.
On the heart side, only the brand appears:

printed in yellow.
A precise choice: minimal at the front, explosive at the back.
